NAR must be a leader and strong voice at the table: collaborating with others to tackle some of the nation’s largest housing problems, pursuing and building upon initiatives such as Thought Leadership and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). By crafting meaningful solutions at the local, state, and national level, this joint participation will lend support and resources. This is particularly beneficial at the local level to increase housing supply through incentives, education, zoning changes, innovative streamlining of the entitlement process, reuse of commercial property and cost reductions. 

 

As the largest trade association in the world with over 1.6 million members we lack the nationwide inventory to support all of our members. Increasing the housing supply will lead to more business opportunities for REALTORS®.
